I chose this bag because I need something with padding, not vinyl or plastic. It's big enough for a full-size sewing machine, and the top center zippers make it very easy to get the machine in and out, and there's plenty of room for a couple of sewing books and supplies. . It has a zipped front panel with small pockets to store your small items such as seam ripper, small scissors, thread, needles etc. as well as a sewing foot and power cord. Enough space. All fabric, no plastic that doesn't let through things that I hate and irritate my skin. This is a canvas bag and it seems pretty sturdy even with little feet on the bottom, so that the bag does not stand directly on the ground. I chose black with a blue border it's nice and well made. It has good sturdy carrying handles. The car I have now weighs a decent amount, about 15 pounds, and it can easily carry more weight. The padding isn't very thick, but it's adequate to keep the machine from rocking when carried. The bag doesn't sag under the weight either. Convenient bag to carry the sewing machine.
