First of all I would like to thank ASUS for selling this product.

First of all, I want to thank ASUS for selling such a great board and reworking this old chipset to help us get new features. The pay is great! I just upgraded from Asrock Extreme 3 r2.0, the difference between these boards is day and night. The Pro 970 Gaming Aura has proven to be a great overclocking board. I've only had it for a few days and can't stop looking at my build, it looks so amazing and is faster than ever. This board uses a 7+1 power phase instead of 8+1, which shouldn't put you off buying one. ASUS did this because they took things from what they now know and applied them to this board. You get super clean power from the VRM and the VRM stays pretty cool depending on what you use to cool the board. can only really be appreciated in person at night. I took some pictures to show my new components, EVGA's 1070 SC compliments them well. I can't wait for AMD ZEN to come out, I will definitely buy ASUS again. If you're looking for a cheaper build and like AMD processors, look no further, you won't be mad at the choice. If you have an AMD FX 9590 I'll work it out, just make sure you have a nice big case with lots of air! You have to keep everything cold, not just the CPU. I installed all the off programs from the website first, but uninstalled about 90% of them as I don't need them for overclocking or web saving. If you don't want to overclock the BIOS, Asus TurboV lets you overclock your CPU core by core if you want, and it's failsafe. They default to the last saved OC, or the last saved stock if you haven't saved a new OC profile. I hope you enjoy it as much as I do!
