For my purposes I need a Windows PC that I can use to store and stream videos from my Plex account (aka PLEX Server). It was perfect for my needs. That's probably more than it takes to do what I wanted. I just wanted an option other than installing a very expensive NAS. It was easy to set up and works great as my Plex server. I can connect any of my external hard drives that are used to store my movies. With Plex, I can stream movies to any of our smart TVs, tablets, or smartphones at home or on the go. This computer has the same performance and functionality as my large (oversized) PC. If you need this option, you can easily connect an external DVD burner. It is as small as an external computer DVD burner. The photo shows it next to my WD external hard drive so you can get a better idea of its size.
