Dell P24VV OptiPlex 3050 Micro Form Factor Desktop Computer Review: Intel Core i5-7500T, 8GB DDR4, 500GB HDD, Windows 10 Pro Review

We bought the same computer for the hospital I work at 7 years ago and they almost never turn off. I figured this must be good! Well it doesn't disappoint. I lost faith in Windows PC many years ago and switched to Mac. But this little thing restored my faith. Get it for 1 year with no freezes, blue screens or program freezes. It can fit anywhere. I literally secured this computer under my desk. It only works with a 4k monitor with Displayport.

I LOVE THIS COMPUTER! It's sooo small but heavier than it looks. Serious machine. I got it with the W10 Pro and it's a screamer. I wish it had a bigger hard drive - I had 500MB but that was the only hard drive they had with the W10 Pro. Since this is for a client, I wanted to be able to access it remotely without installing any other software. The W10 Pro has that built in. $600 delivered - wow! This one is so small I can't believe it's a desktop computer. We used these to replace our thin clients and they are smaller and since it's a full desktop it's better to use a thin client that only works through the server.

For my purposes I need a Windows PC that I can use to store and stream videos from my Plex account (aka PLEX Server). It was perfect for my needs. That's probably more than it takes to do what I wanted. I just wanted an option other than installing a very expensive NAS. It was easy to set up and works great as my Plex server.
