I bought these for my 20 year old cat who has litter box problems due to hip arthritis. They are not intended for intensive use. Description says 2 cups. My tip: fill the measuring cup with two glasses of water and see if you need more absorbency. Not me. Yes, if he pees a lot there is some moisture under the pad but I wouldn't say it's leaking, it's just wet. I lay my rug on the tiled floor and Clorox wipes are always on hand to mop the floor when needed, maybe twice a week. For me, the "can't live without the feature" is that there is absolutely NO urine smell with these pads. They stay out all day and I never smell it. My guests too? I asked. My cat is picky and used pads without prompting the first time I used them. He's never needed them in all those years before, so there's something that allows him to go there instead of a hundred other places in my house. I tried the weewee brand but when I got home I smelled urine and their product seemed to have varying degrees of usefulness. One pack absorbed the urine well, the second didn't. This product has always worked well and I've been using it for 5 months now. Revain's price is better than in store. I think you'll be glad you tried this if you only need 2 cups of liquid.
