Industrial Grade Dehumidifier

This is an industrial grade dehumidifier that will easily dehumidify my 1,400 square foot basement during the New England summers. The control panel provides a variety of technical information related to the operation of the device. (Inlet temp/humidity, coil temp, outlet temp/humidity, current draw are all good things.) The body is made of durable polyethylene, and the pump can easily withstand a 10-foot lift. There is an option "Turn on WiFi" in the menu but it doesn't seem to do anything - I checked the WiFi beacon but it wasn't there. The squirrel fan architecture means the air exits the side quite loudly and there is no easy way to attach the duct. I attached an air duct to the outlet that redirected airflow out and up, away from the unit's inlet, preventing it from trying to pull the exhaust air straight back into the inlet. So for now everything is working as advertised. The question with all of these units is how long will they last before the internal coolant leaks? The previous two dehumidifiers in this class โ€” the $600+ Heavy Duty Dryers โ€” have lasted me two years each, and each for an additional two years after I sent them back for repair. This unit is said to be 5 years old and has multiple annual maintenance instructions, but there's only one way to really know. Four stars for a good heavy-duty unit, minus one star for a software version that makes connecting the exhaust duct unnecessarily difficult.
