Review on Country Lane Natural Soy Wax Candle Making Kit: Create Homemade DIY Candles by Denise Davis

Overall, for a beginner candle making kit, it worked. One of the two containers I got was different from what was advertised which was fine but it's just odd that it was a completely different shape/size. The pad of paint he gave me was broken into five or six pieces and wrapped with wicks and paper instructions so they all had green paint on them. I didn't use color in my candles, but because it got on the wicks, two of my candles had a bit of green around the wick. The scent I got (it may be different in each set) smelled exactly like a gum flavored medicine that I never intended to use as a candle scent so I threw it away and used essential oils instead. The pitcher was good, the wax melted easily and the instructions were helpful and clear. I haven't burned the candles yet, but they're mostly hardened and look great (except for the little green bits). Overall, buying this kit helped me show you how and now I feel confident enough to buy wax and wicks myself and do more!
