I fell in love with the Olympus E-420 and two prime lenses, a 25mm pancake and a 50mm f2.0 lens. After many years of photography up until the 1960's this camera satisfied my craving for some elements of the old way. The compact size, light weight, prime lenses, high quality and ability to shoot with the feeling that the camera and I are one is great. The pancake lens is so comfortable and easy to use that I'm willing to overcome its imperfections - that's more than enough. And the 50mm lens is the sharpest lens I've found, with some of the most beautiful images I've had in years. Olympus Evolt E420 10MP DSLR with Zuiko 25mm f/2.8 lens. And I'm particularly pleased that this camera focuses so reliably. I've used a lot of Nikon and Canon. I have suffered greatly from erratic focus for the past few years, mostly with Canon DSLRs. The confidence I have in the e-420 makes shooting a pleasure.
