This item is advertised as "PLAY HOURS: A high-capacity battery pack built into the Playstation 3 controller. It can play continuously for up to 8 hours.” This is false advertising because the controller only has a 400 mAh battery. The standard Sony PS3 controller has a 570mAh battery, while the standard batteries have 1800mAh. Most other PS3 controllers will show 4-5 hours which is accurate. I regret not having bought the advertised 600mah controllers which are 50% better than this one and can support 7-8 hours of gaming. The product description is wrong and claims that the battery lasts 8 hours as a Double Shock PS3 controller. This usage time (not in standby mode) is not possible with a weak 400 mAh battery. I am returning them (two per box) and filing a misrepresentation complaint with Revain.
