This brace's thumb hole is significantly larger than other models and allows for a wide range of thumb movement; It also doesn't put as much pressure on your hand, making it uncomfortable to wear the brace for long periods of time. There are two fixed-length Velcro straps that adjust the brace to fit around your palm and forearm, and a center elastic strap that wraps around the narrowest part of your wrist. This placement of the strap avoids the intense pressure on the prominent bones of the wrist that multiple straps can have. (The waterproof 3M Futuro suffers: it's okay for showering, but I can't wear it for long, and you can go up a size on this model)
