Not a luxury brace with poor padding

Not very comfortable, little padding. I ordered this because it mentioned "luxury" and memory foam - I wanted to wrap my dumb wrist in soft but therapeutic comfort. Not enough foam to even tell if it's memory foam. The edges appear to be spiky unlike the other two bracelets I have. The lining that connects the two sides is a thin piece of fabric. I also bought a second wrist brace called the DonJoy ComfortFORM Wrist Support Brace and it is way better than this one. Too bad I wasn't involved in…

comfortable and durable

This brace's thumb hole is significantly larger than other models and allows for a wide range of thumb movement; It also doesn't put as much pressure on your hand, making it uncomfortable to wear the brace for long periods of time. There are two fixed-length Velcro straps that adjust the brace to fit around your palm and forearm, and a center elastic strap that wraps around the narrowest part of your wrist. This placement of the strap avoids the intense pressure on the prominent bones of the…

Not a perfect fit but good

First the good details: It seems to be a well made product and in general it fits very well. This is definitely a much better fit than the last "XL" I tried. The thumb hole is larger and much more comfortable than other models, and I don't have to squeeze it as hard when putting them on. It also seems to be working fine. And again, I can spend more than a few minutes at the keyboard :) However, I can't wear it for hours like other reviewers claim. After a while it starts to press painfully on…

Anything I didn't know I needed

I fucking love this brace. It is very durable and the material seems very durable. I do feel the velcro "slip off" over time, but that's the nature of velcro. The metal bar in the brace really immobilizes my wrist which is great. I took off a star for convenience only because my forearm hurt a lot on the metal bar from trying to flex my wrist. This pain can be partially attributed to user error. Also the part that sits in the gap between the thumb and forefinger can wear/irritate the skin as…

Does what it should. With some changes.

When I broke both my wrists my podiatrist gave them to me as my fractures were not complicated. But since I have pets, I had to find replacements for them. It works well. I recommend wearing it with some kind of protector to keep it cleaner. I also recommend getting foam to patch areas that chafe. Every brace rubs me in random places, that's the thing. My only real complaint, and what blows them away, is that the metal removal slot is in the brace. This means that if you have to go through…

Pros
  • Allows fingers to move freely
Cons
  • Communication with seller

Updated 10/2021 Just over two years old (Bought 10/20/2019) and today on Halloween the metal splint finally went through my palm allowing it to pierce. Now I wear this thing about 60% of the day and sometimes while I sleep and about 99% of the days since I bought it, but the braces I bought, even with the 'new' version, have lasted longer . Comfort and fit are still great after many washes and the velcro closures are still strong. I had a problem with braces and needed to find something that I…

Best wrist brace I have ever used

Media failed to load. Check out my video for a comparison to the Mueller Green strap. Both work, but this Futuro is a step ahead in terms of comfort and quality. This is the most effective and comfortable wrist brace I have ever used. Very strong yet adjustable support and good quality neoprene. I also prefer the gray aesthetic, although it's a bit more than Muller's. The Mueller's smaller size means it digs into my middle arm and bruises it, so another Futuro point. In addition to this wrist…

Great construction, great materials and support where it's needed

I did the stupid thing and tried to jump off the pavement on my scooter but fell forward and got the fall with my guiding hand intercepted. Combine the impact on my wrist with intense daily use of a laptop mouse and keyboard and you have a recipe for constant pain. looking for the cheapest. But after looking at all the negative reviews from different brands, I decided to pick the ONE reputable brand, 3M, that would have the least high-paying reviews. I have very thin wrists but I was able to…
