Bought this a few years ago and left it assembled on a desk that I am not using. Today I thought I could use it so I picked it up and it fell apart quickly. I assumed the bolts loosened over time (although there was no real reason for this). There are four crossbars on each end of each crossbar, which are attached with a screw. These bolts are not tightened into the cross member. They just spin (all but one). It shouldn't be that difficult to properly thread the crossbars so that screws can be inserted into them. I think you could replace them with tighter fitting screws and have them rethread the crossbar. If it had been done I would have given it a higher rating. Another problem is that the compartments slide in and out very easily. So expect them to pop out every time you try to grab something from the tray. Nothing bad, but kinda uncomfortable. You can tighten the fit a bit by squeezing the splint on the tray.
