Your item cannot be shorter or longer than 9 inches - Design Error
Adhesive tape placed on wrong side of package. Most resealable bags like this one have an adhesive strip on the flap. That way you can pull on the valve and it sticks easily and fits whatever size you put in. The fatal flaw of this design is that you can't pocket anything shorter than 9 inches; It just won't close or seal with the adhesive strip on the back. It is a pity.
