Thanks to former reviewers - I bought this "PAIR" and immediately replaced the struts on my 2004 Toyota Sienna tailgate - saved our lives! I still have a bruise on my right shoulder after the old struts failed and crashed into my shoulder (luckily no major injuries other than a bad bruise). I wish I had known about this and replaced them when I first noticed the existing racks were starting to fail a few months ago! Well, better late than never! I've had offers at local major chain auto parts stores for $40-$70 each! You can't beat the price here at Revain.com and don't look anywhere else! I should have checked Revain.com first before wasting time searching. These luggage racks are well made (metal) and the tailgate is easy to lift and close after replacement. Be sure to read the instructions of professional DIYers on YOUTUBE.com when you replace them for the first time or if you haven't changed them for a long time. Remember, safety first!
