It's always difficult to find pants that fit my very thin child. It seems that everything is always huge at the waist! He usually wears one size smaller than his age. When he was 6 years old he could wear 5T etc. I bought them when he was 7 and he turned 8 and I liked them so much that after a few months I got the same size in a different style. He's short for his age and I think he's about 50 inches tall. He also has some issues with textures and structured clothing. It is very comfortable for him and the small size is perfect for him! They're longer (in a good way). So if your child is taller for their age I'm not sure the length will fit. For my small and slim friend they were absolutely perfect and seemed amazing value for money!
