Don't throw away the sofa! This product far exceeded my high expectations. We bought a used Broyhill leather sofa and armchair on eBay 15 years ago. For real. Four kids and three cats used these things to death. I loved the genuine leather and the overall upscale look of these sofas. A few years ago we picked up the perfect two-seater on the side of the road. There were quite large holes on the arms and the skin was quite rough. But it was free and we needed extra space. However, this winter I had to deal with the fact that our sofas were no longer shabby chic. They were just shabby. I started buying replacements and quickly realized that we could never afford to replace what we had. And the options we could afford were just cheap. I love solving repair problems so I went online and found this repair kit. I said I had high hopes because our sofas were in a terrible state: cracked, torn, dull. But to be honest, I didn't think that any product could bring beauty back to our sofas. I was wrong! mad wrong! I mixed the first batch of colors and applied one. I was skeptical. But I kept going. The transformation showed up pretty quickly: my battered sofas looked weathered but beautiful. I covered up cat scratches and places where the skin was cracked. I redid most of the loveseat (cushions and armrests), two cushions and armrests, the top of the ottoman and the armrests of the chair. For the cut out armrest of a love seat, I came across a men's leather jacket at our local Goodwill store. for 7 dollars. I took it apart, sewed the seams on the sides and used GOO's product to glue my giant patch to the arm of the sofa, lined up the seams on the side and tucked one end under the pillow and the other under the arm . where it's slanted at a 90 degree angle and you can't see the seam. The color of the coat did not match the double sofa. General. No problem! I just smeared on the rest of the paint and - WOW - that looks really great! A few weeks have passed since the original coloring. Parts of the sofa need some work. So I reordered the set. I wanted to save more for future cleanup. My husband put boards under the pillows and I removed the memory foam futon pillow to complement or replace the most deflated sofa pillows. The sofas and armchair don't look perfect, but our style is something of an upscale cottage - at least that's what I tell myself. We love the warm worn and comfortable look. Thank you Browns for this great product! My only suggestion is that you provide a large mixing bowl and spatula. I ended up using the bottom of the tube to apply the paint to the large areas I was treating. I have worked well. But it took me some time to find a solution. Buyers, you can buy this product with confidence!
