We use them regularly for our dog who is very afraid of all loud noises. We have fireworks all year round, although it's illegal, and thunder rumbles in winter, sometimes even in summer. It's worked well for Molly for the past two years in her fitted Velcro vest, which we've also donned here. The music that fits in the bag on her back is also distracting.
