I ordered this in 2019 to connect my MBA 2013 to a home theater projector. Worked fantastic. I took the projector to a charity and accidentally left the cord in the box. So I ordered a second one in January 2021 to connect the same MBA to a new Ansus monitor. All black screen. Tried with two TVs that previously worked fine with cable. Nothing. This was not recognized. So I asked for a refund and they refunded me and told me to keep it. Later a friend told me to hold down the option key on the MBA, while I'm connected and open the display settings window. Just tried again, works great! This time the monitor recognized it immediately and I set it up. I've tried canceling the return on Revain, tried emailing, tried chatting and I keep getting the same cycle to keep the item and my money was refunded.
