Crap and Powersports Superstore Rogue Sellers

I bought this tool, an inferior stamped piece of iron. Mine was defective, I bought it from Powersport Supermarket which is listed as a retailer on this listing. The "tooth" that goes into the spring preload adjuster ring on mine was angled to the point where it wouldn't stay in the groove. Since it didn't seize, it basically just popped out of the adjustment collar, rendering it unusable. Like another reviewer of this product, I chose to file the tooth to fit the slot. It worked for the front struts, but on the rear of my quad, which has a single strut with a heavier spring, the cog couldn't handle the tension and broke. I believe it's a fairly high quality metal, but it's poorly formed, making it brittle and irregularly shaped. I believe this tool will work, but Powersport Superstore will not replace mine as I "changed the product". This tool is for quads that are usually in the woods and you often have to make do with what you have. Avoid the Powersport Superstore at all costs.
