Works, but if you live in an area like mine with hundreds of FM radio stations (e.g. Southern California) you will need to spend some time testing some rarely used frequencies for the best signal your device. The best test will be a trip through the desert, which is still being clarified. I will note that this unit is a lot more bass-heavy (some of you might like it) compared to cassette deck stereo adapters (including Blue Tooth stereo adapters), but that's easily remedied with stereo EQ. Some of you may also be interested to know that a 20W solar panel with a 12V power supply is enough.
