Review on Sailun Ice Blazer WST3 225/60 R18 104T winter by Ada Lipczyska ᠌

Revainrating 4 out of 5

It was a reasonable purchase, will order more.

3 part. Changing lanes in snow on a low track (I haven't experienced a high track yet) causes a minor toss of the rear axle, but on a smoother track, everything is good. The tires perform admirably on wet road and wet snow (I used the same setting for both). They have no trouble moving, stopping, or speeding up in the snow (if the snow is rolled to a depth of 1 cm or less). My entire break-in lasted for a total of 1,003 kilometers at a maximum speed of 100 kilometers per hour. For brief moments (I didn't notice any problems, I'm talking about buildup), there were three or four instances where overtaking required speeds of 120 km/h on the motorway. Size 205/55 R16 tires. The deciding factor in whether or not I am happy with my purchase today is whether or not I like these tires. After these tires' service life is over, or at least after one season has passed, is all I can say.

Pros
  • 1 part! I previously used Gislaved Nord Frost 100 tires on my car. Oh, how let down I am by them. When I acquired them in addition to the automobile, I did so with the expectation that I would be using them for a minimum of three more months. Seriously, I did. They broke down frequently; the ABS crunched occasionally; the ESP kicked in perpetually; the tires had zero hook; the disk buckled when it hit a curb stone; and they had no braking effectiveness in oatmeal. It's 2022 and I've read numerous reviews claiming that the gislaved originally imported from Europe are no longer the same ones. The rubber was 15 years old, there were no spikes on it (or rather, there was what was left, the spine), and I also have a 15gv automobile, which means, while it is not a fact, that the car was sold on this rubber. My only guess as to why they acted so strangely is because I got the automobile from a girl who, judging by the lack of summer tires, also used the vehicle in the summer. On a frozen road they showed themselves very cool, they worked like friction clutches (Velcro), but as soon as a small crust of ice or snow porridge, then everything is like flying in the summer, you don't know where. To sum up, I was really upset about it. Kama Euro tires, either size 519 or 219, didn't just "pearl" on ice norms on my old car (a Nissan Note), but after five seasons of driving, 60% of the spikes were still in place (I'm not lying, I was shocked myself, I got tires from scratch and drove myself).
Cons
  • Part 2! Let's talk SAYLUNS now. Attractive because of the low cost (3.100) and favorable ratings. If all popular tire brands, including Goodyear, Michelin, Nokian, and others, were a thousand dollars cheaper, or even one and a half or two, I would buy them. But the economy was sending a different message. At first, I opted for Nokian Nordman 7s, Yokohamas of some sort, and recognizable brands of tires costing around $5.000 per. The total cost of 4 tires troubled me, as I mentioned before. I had already decided to purchase the Viati Brina Nordico, and whatever else was in the name, but I changed my mind after stumbling across a video about sailoons on YouTube. Sauylun VST 1 was the first model I saw, although it was already obsolete. After delving deeper into this manufacturer through online reading and video, I stumbled upon SAILUN VST 3. The tire, now. Review was delayed because testing on icy, snowy roads was impossible. Slush, dry asphalt, and snowy asphalt were all that could be found. Over a thousand miles have been put on them by myself. The protruding parts appear to be complete. The car is very quiet despite the spikes in the road, while there is some noise and a rumble on the asphalt, similar to that of prior Gislaveds (on them, Gislaveds, as if the bearings were humming at all four hubs). They keep it firmly planted on the road even while accelerating straight ahead or making a sharp curve (both of which are prone to skidding when using spikes). Recently there was ice, and it manifested itself clearly; yet, in certain areas, the ice was not very strong; however, when I drove through these areas, I saw no ice at all, not even in turns (where the drift increased somewhat more than on dry asphalt, but was still under control). carried on in the feedback
