Bought for my 2003 Ford Ranger because the check valve in the factory fuel pump had failed. I installed it and it solved the fuel delivery issue, but now my fuel gauge never goes past 1/4 tank. Strangely, it behaves normally when the tank is less than 1/4 full, but the rest of the time it stands still. Did some research, some said it would go away on its own after a while. It's not like this. Battery disconnected, attempting recovery. That does not work. I don't want to replace it again because it's such a chore (lowering the tank or removing the bed. Ugh.), but now I wish I could take the money I spent on it and bring it to the OEM fuel pump. .
