I have never had any problems with my cats urinating on previous toilet mats that I have used. For some reason my cats keep doing it on this rug. Not sure if dirt builds up in the carpet or something, but it's become a problem. Not only that, the mat is NOT waterproof as they advertise. At least not for long. We now have a stain on our wood from urine seeping through the carpet onto the floor. I contacted Waretary or another seller for a refund as I was still within their "90 day guarantee" window. However, I have not received any reply from them regarding my situation.
