It took me half an hour to decide on this one and I love it way more than I thought!

I bought this because I read too many stories about battery fires due to poles touching surrounding materials and igniting. I had no idea how many types of these holders there are! This item is much better than expected and I like the color but I can still see what we have. I like that the lid is made from a more flexible, clear plastic rather than a super clear, brittle one. The ones that have zips all over were fine, but we're visual here, so sight is vital for some products! I looked at others and either didn't like the configuration/layout or they just didn't fit enough (not to mention they were just plain ugly). It's a balanced arrangement that holds up a TON. I prefer to buy batteries in XL packs so that they have enough storage space, even if you still have a few batteries left over from the last pack. One unexpected thing that turned out to be super ASDM/satisfactory was that all of the battery holes still had foam plugs. If you love popping bubble wrap, you'll love installing a new battery holder! Just note that this is regular foam, much like sofa cushions and some pillows - it creates a lot of static electricity, so don't leave sensitive electronics lying around. Our forks started flying based on their orientation because they have positive and negative ends! It was really fun pouring them into the kids bowl once you managed to shake them off your hands. Anyway this thing is great, the batteries are safe so I don't have to worry about the batteries catching fire and it looks good. It's not the heaviest plastic but looks strong enough to last at least 5-10 years if one of our kids doesn't crush it. However, if I need another one, I'll take another one, I like it.

Pros
  • Battery Tester
Cons
  • Exorbitant Piggy Bank
