My succulents like it well enough
Very bright to human eyes, and my succulents seem to enjoy the light as well. My friend from Colorado, who enjoys gardening of the herbal and medicinal variety, recommended this type of bulb to me when I relayed to him my frustrations with my succulents not getting enough sunlight in my office window. Or course, I ignored the other advice he gave me, which went something like "Just quit your job and come smoke some sweet herb with me on my chicken farm, man". Sometimes you just gotta parse out the important advice from the not-so-relevant stuff, you know?
- Does not emit harmful UV radiation, which can damage plants and cause skin damage
- The light may be too bright or intense for some outdoor plants to handle
