The ability of being able to use your own data center equipment without having someone else manage it is extremely helpful when working with clients who are not technical people at all. My team also benefits greatly from using this solution because we don't have problems getting support tickets resolved quickly and accurately. It can be confusing if you're new but after spending some time learning how everything works together I think anyone will get used to it very easily! Using our client's personal server rather than their hosting facility has been great so far - no need to worry about backups or security issues that you would find elsewhere.
