This fun, funny book is just what you'll want to read with any child old enough to have a sensible discussion . The jokes take simple things from life (a house, a pencil drawing) and describe them in such a way that an extraterrestrial could cover "an irregularly shaped box with a wax image" - you get the point. Such things cause laughter. but also lots of great parent-child interactions because you can ask the "well what is that REALLY” question and answer the discussion and work on your logic and verbal reasoning skills. completely naive eyes, as if you were an alien. You can continue this indefinitely. Take a toothbrush and have the kids describe it as if they were aliens who just landed and reported to the mothership.
