Review on 🐠 12mm Stainless Steel Mesh Filter Media Cover for Aquarium Percolator - POPETPOP by Candace Robinson

I needed something to prevent dwarf shrimp fry from being sucked into the mesh filter. The net is so thin that even newly hatched juvenile fish cannot suck it in. The only downside I see is that the hole only fits filters with round inlet tubes (I have a lot of these and some are rectangular). I added a thin layer of aquarium sealant to secure the inlet tube to the mesh cover and mesh cover gasket. I only did this because my power filter has (on purpose) very low suction and I didn't want the suction tube/mesh cap to come loose. I wouldn't do that with my stronger filters.
