Works great, my only complaint is not a problem with the product. I bought this to mount on my Fluval 204 and it's too small.

Prevents guppies from being sucked into AquaClear 30. Worth mentioning if it's not obvious, prevents small particles (like food scraps) from getting into the filter, so keep that in mind.

Practically useless without silicone and in any case when I received it it seemed to me of poor quality. I would worry about it falling off and losing small fish/shrimp because it doesn't fit as advertised and completely broke part of my filter.

Has a plastic ring that should hold it in place at the inlet. But then it slips off. No matter how hard you try to hold this thing, the vibration of a running filter and the smoothness of a plastic disc just won't work. A rubber washer would be much better.

I have a Sunsun 304B filter with a standard inlet. Although the 16mm was too big for the intake pipe, I was able to use it in place of the stock intake grille and it works great. I'm very happy with how it turned out considering relatively few products were made for Sunsun canisters and it's hanging pretty tight. gives my fish a chance to eat it and clean the tank a bit before it goes into my canister filter.

I needed something to prevent dwarf shrimp fry from being sucked into the mesh filter. The net is so thin that even newly hatched juvenile fish cannot suck it in. The only downside I see is that the hole only fits filters with round inlet tubes (I have a lot of these and some are rectangular). I added a thin layer of aquarium sealant to secure the inlet tube to the mesh cover and mesh cover gasket. As stated in the title, fits Aquaclear 20, 30 and 50 filter inlet fittings May fit others but I can CONFIRM these will fit. At the moment it gets a 5 star rating. Delivered quickly, arrived without damage. Fits tightly to the end of the filter inlet pipe, don't worry about it falling off. The retaining ring in the filter itself fits perfectly into the tube. I've posted a few photos so you can judge for yourself. I use this in a frying tank I run to keep my little friends from getting sucked in.
