Many people will like this charging station. It's compact, has three 2.1A USB charging ports (iPad) and doubles as a stand for an iPad or tablet. However, the humming of the charging cradle when the iPad is connected is VERY annoying. So, for the iPad, I just went back to using one of the standard AC outlets and the iPad's native charger. If this thing could charge everything silently, it would surely be 5 stars. However, the hum makes the USB ports unusable for the iPad. So three stars. If you have a noisy office or love loud electronic hum, this could still be five stars. Another review noticed a hum with just the magnetic cover on the iPad. I have a hum with no case on my iPad.
