Review on πŸ“· Olympus M.Zuiko Digital ED 40-150mm F4.0-5.6 R Zoom Lens for Micro Four Thirds Cameras - Black: Review & Comparison by Clinton Delgado

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Yes, it's a whale lens, but it still has very good image quality and its small size and ultra-light weight make it a great travel lens.

Affordable, very light and the perfect travel lens if you don't like long shots but want something longer in your travel bag. I'm using an old Olympus 50-200mm lens, a fantastic lens and one of my absolute favorites. However, this is a large and heavy lens. So when my family is on vacation and I want to have a long focal length lens on hand, this 40-150mm lens does the job perfectly without taxing my gear while still delivering great image quality. I usually shoot from a wider angle so I don't need a large focal length when traveling, but I can carry this around without feeling like I'm lugging a brick in my backpack, which is important when I'm walking around town all day run. I recommend it to anyone who wants to get good image quality at long focal lengths and especially for the travel bag.
