They were pretty easy to install apart from figuring out where to put the control box. I connected to the switch in the cockpit of my JKU. The remotes for things and functions are pretty cool, although I don't know how often I'll be using them outside of a solid color. The only negative thing I have to say about the kit is that some of the colors are definitely not true colors. The white is more like a rainbow, like cake icing with lots of sprinkles. Yellow is a little missing, but I don't plan to use it. I was really hoping the white would be white and not colored frosting, but I'm going to use red mostly anyway, and it's definitely red. I just think they didn't know what to do to make the LED white, that's all. So if you want white, I probably won't take this kit. I can't say much about the durability as I only installed it over the weekend. See my attached photos and videos of control options.
