Review on πŸƒ SLS3 Soft Flask Lightweight Compact BPA Free Hydration Water Bottle - 10 oz, Ideal for Running, Hiking, or Sports (Clear, Pack of 2) by Zach Sornsin

Started leaking on fourth use. I do not recommend.

I bought these to carry in the front pockets of my Nathan VaporAir hydration pack. The pistons appeared fine upon receipt and worked as expected for the first 3 runs. On my 4th run (today) the bottle I brought with me started leaking like crazy about 7 miles into the run. I poured an electrolyte drink into a bottle and when I got home I was a gooey mess. I think I drank about 200ml from the bottle before it started leaking and was afraid to drink from it afterwards because I didn't want to make the problem worse. All but 50ml leaked out before I finished my run. I expect them to last much longer than 3 1/2 runs. I do NOT recommend them. If they hadn't leaked I would have given them 3, maybe 4 stars. The opening is very small so I had to use a funnel to get the drink mix - something you wouldn't want to do in a medical station during a long race. But other than that, they seemed good enough (except for the leak, of course). I had a hard time drinking from them while running the harder trails because I had to lean so low and crane my neck at an odd angle. I have to wait until I know I'll have a nice flat smooth tread before trying to drink. Bit valve as well as an extender straw so I can see if the straw is easier to use. I may have received a defective product on occasion, but even if the typical lifespan is 3-4 times longer than what I've experienced, that's still not the case. its worth it. Hope Osprey bottles work better.

Pros
  • Camping
Cons
  • Definitely bad product
