Review on Pourable Plastic Specially Designed Castings by Doris Tran

This is an easy to use 1:1 epoxy. My clients wanted their live edge table to be cast in clear epoxy. I noticed that one reviewer mentioned that blisters formed - I was a little tired at first but thought maybe they didn't follow the directions or used the wrong method. You were right. This epoxy is terrible for clear pouring. I mixed the epoxy well for the suggested time and scraped the edges and bottom. I mixed it well enough that the mixture was crystal clear as water flowed and there were no bubbles or imperfections in the mixture. The epoxy casting was nice, flowed like water and was fluid enough to disperse air bubbles. It was CRYSTAL CLEAR. I even used a heat gun to disperse any microbubbles left on top. However, the next day the epoxy started to cure. Air bubbles and small "noises" started to form inside (see picture). The epoxy has already set, so there is no way to fix it. I rate this star for blistering despite being easy to use. I had to give customers a discount as the epoxy didn't suit them. I would recommend this epoxy for opaque painting.
