Bought this mirror for my wife when I noticed that she uses an old common small mirror every day. This mirror is MUCH better than your old one. It's a solid piece, it's not flimsy or sticky at all. It actually looks pretty stylish and it works. The light is bright, the mirrors are made of glass. The best thing about the feature is that it has rechargeable batteries, which is very convenient because my wife often forgets to turn it off. If it were just batteries, it would be a hassle to keep changing batteries. And if it was ONLY a plugin, that would sometimes be a nuisance too. The way it was designed is the best design in that sense.
