Review on ๐Ÿ”Š Jumbl SINSB7W ProGrip Ultra Stainless Steel Speaker Wall Mount Bracket, Set of 2 by Luis Thompson

Excellent mount but fits wall stud

Purchased to fit Polk Audio Signature S10 Series speakers (8 lbs each). I tried installing it with plastic drywall anchors (weighing 50 pounds), but I wasn't happy with the bulge in the drywall when I hung the speaker. I ended up moving over 4 inches to find the wall stud and I recommend installing these brackets ONLY through the wall studs. The easiest way I've found is to loosen the lag screw just enough to remove the ball mount, to install the ball on the speaker first and then lift the speaker/ball mount onto the bracket. If you have a second person help with positioning, you can use the included hex wrench to tighten the clamp on the ball mount. Make sure the ball itself is clean and free of sweat/oil to prevent it from slipping in the clip. I find these brackets to be sturdy and offer maximum flexibility in aligning the speaker when hung. I believe the documentation says they have a ยฃ10 limit. and are likely accurate by design. I like that they mount close to the wall and seem to disappear when the speaker is in front of them. I would recommend them for any surround sound speaker needs. so it doesn't slip in the clamp. I find these brackets to be sturdy and offer maximum flexibility in aligning the speaker when hung. Pros
  • Ball and clip design for more installation flexibility, pivots left and right up and down.
Cons
  • Out of style
