A single mom is fed up with kids picking corks off the floor. They are very easy to install, remove pin, insert pin, reinsert pin. They were strong, expensive and fragile. I was very concerned after seeing some reviews saying they put holes in the fairing. I think that could happen if someone like my 18 year old son is pushing hard on the door. But they are adjustable. I've adjusted them all to open wide enough without hitting things, so that shouldn't be a problem. The ONLY problem I had was repainting my oak finish white. One of them scratched the freshly painted white trim. But I had to wait a few more days for the paint to dry before applying it. No marks or holes on other surfaces. I like them so much that I order more. Started when I was 6, now I want all the doors.
