I can't tell you how long I hated my shower. This is a claw foot tub, most likely early or late 19th century, converted into a shower. All the usual things for modern showers hang from the showerhead, but never ceases to amaze you with spilling the entire contents. Usually when shampoo suds came out of my eyeballs I couldn't open them to make sure I didn't step on bottles or bars of soap. I googled "shower for dirty showers" and it came up. I found something similar in a Pinterest link and searched Amazon. This article is great. I still hate my shower. Bathtubs, which were invented before the advent of showers, have a curved bottom inside, and if you have grown-up feet, it's very uncomfortable to stand in. However, showering is no longer a dangerous activity. Since it has plastic buckets with holes in them, things don't get dirty and it seems incredibly easy to clean.
