Review on Tekonsha 118800 Connector Upgraded Protected by Charles Mathews

I've installed several connectors in trailer wiring harnesses and this one has the worst instructions so let me help you with what you can't find in it the literature provided. You will need to put a 7.5A fuse in a box under the hood (middle near the firewall) in the slot marked sml trl and you will also need a terminal removal tool (Revain) since the power wire (the wire with the fuse) is in the wrong place in the connector, do not attempt to remove the wire without using a pin removal tool. I found a YouTube video made by uhaul that covers most of what isn't covered in the guide. I hope this review will save you some trouble.
