Easy Install and Improved Functionality

This connector has greatly improved the functionality of my automotive lighting system. Through trial and error, I found that this upgraded connector provides better protection against weather and wear and tear. The installation process was quick and easy, and now my lights are working like a charm. The only con is that the packaging could be more informative for those who may not have much experience with car electrical systems. Overall, a great purchase!

Pros
  • Reliable and durable design for long-lasting use
Cons
  • May require advanced DIY installation skills

Lousy instructions in wiring harnesses

I've installed several connectors in trailer wiring harnesses and this one has the worst instructions so let me help you with what you can't find in it the literature provided. Pros
  • 5 amp stop/three phase circuit
Cons
  • Could have chosen a newer model

Please note my 22 RDX Advance Apt 1 had a red wire in the wiring harness but the last thing I wanted was to run the battery. As another reviewer pointed out, and also as shown in Uhaul's YouTube video for installing the 2021 Acura RDX trailer harness, you need to install a 7.5A fuse in the center fuse panel under the hood marked as a small trailer. (This video was also helpful in knowing which panels to remove to access the wiring harness behind the driver's side panel in the cargo area). You…

Pros
  • No cutting, splicing or wrapping of car wires
Cons
  • So far so good
