I tried the Speck case and liked it, but the plastic is cheap and breaks easily. I wouldn't spend another 50 for a stupid plastic case. I stumbled across this and after looking at the reviews decided the $25 was worth the risk. It is great. So clear that you don't even notice it. The fact that it's also a stand, which helps air circulate away from the unit and tilts the laptop is something other companies charge an extra $15 for. I was glad to see the free gelatin pad. It also has small bulges on each of the corners so the plastic case doesn't get scratched when you put your laptop on it. This is a very well thought out product that outperforms the competition. It's better for your dollar. I will order more flowers!
