PROS: I really like this flashlight for its slim, simple design and very bright LED strip. Personally, I don't mind removing the rubber bands to remove the charging indicator, but I understand some may find it cumbersome. Battery life was also excellent: I usually run it in a fast "double flash" mode and haven't completely drained the battery after a typical week of summer riding (12-14 hours). CONS: This flashlight is NOT waterproof. The rubber pad is fully removable and is held in place by the tension of the rubber bands; The USB port is not sealed airtight and is otherwise exposed to the weather. I've gotten caught in the rain twice recently: the first time, the flashlight dried up and continued to work, but after the last incident I noticed water in the flashlight, which thoroughly washed the electronics. It still hasn't turned on after about 3 days in a bag of rice. This is a good light for the price but make sure it fits you. Unfortunately based on my experience I will probably have to look for another road bike replacement.
