This speaker is amazing. I've had it for a few months now and with it sitting next to me on my desk I felt the need to share a review. I used to have a Bose Soundlink II (also great, but without Alexa of course) as well as a variety of other cheaper portable speakers. - Sound Quality: As expected from Bose, the sound quality of this speaker is excellent at any volume. Friends keep raving about the sound quality, especially given the small size and portability. Clear highs, deep but not too loud lows, and you have access to EQ settings in the Bose app, which works well too. - Portability: The carrying handle is great and the charging dock is extremely convenient and durable. I also bought an amazing carrying case for less than $20 that is incredibly good - Khanka hard shell travel case to replace a Bose portable bluetooth home speaker (suitable for the charging cradle) - Battery life: I've got over 8 hours of continuous playback experienced. Just make sure you turn it off completely before putting it in your travel bag, or it will likely be low or dead by the time you get it out. (Although this isn't a problem if you have access to AC power and a USB-C cable). The voice control mics are also very sensitive as advertised, which is great. You can play music out loud in another room and the speaker will still respond to Alexa commands. Another exceptional Bose product and the Alexa integration makes it so easy to use! 6 stars.
