Review on 🔥 X-Sense SD07: Advanced 10-Year Battery Smoke Detector with Escape Light, LED Indicator & Silence Button - UL 217 Compliant by Robert Cole

The product is very beautiful and easy to install. The unit activates when you screw it to the ceiling mount, but I found a switch on the bottom of the unit and turned it on prior to installation. Has a test and silence button to test each month. It is enough to press it just once, as after repeating the series of 85 decibels twice, with 3 beeps each time, the device will be silent. We bought the one with the light and it's very bright when I tested it. I bought a 6 pack and replaced all of our old detectors as I had to change the batteries in them every year. It's nice not having to climb stairs to install batteries for our old ones. It has an install date on which of course you write your install date so you know they will need to be replaced in 10 years. It will also flash green every minute to let you know the device is working. Doesn't bother you, but can't be turned off. It has other colors, such as B. Yellow, flashing to alert you that the detector is nearing the end of its life. Instructions were easy to read and follow. Installation took about 15 minutes as I had to remove my old detector and remove the rim to install the new rim and detector. I just used a small nail to pierce the base in case I hit a wooden beam and if not, screws and plastic anchors were included. Overall, I am very satisfied with the quality of the smoke detectors. A very good product indeed!
