This gives you a good advantage, but you really have to persuade him.

It works. . . Type. This is normal and it will get the job done. But the instructions on the packaging and in the videos I watched were wrong. It says to put the edger lightly on the paint in the tray to get the paint on the edger. NOT CORRECT! If you do it this way, you can't control where the paint lands on the edger. Which means if the paint didn't hit the edger's edge, guess what? You won't get a good edge. Also, loading ink in the manner described can easily result in too much ink spilling onto the edger, leading to inevitable drips and messes. You "have to" do it your way because if you just dip it in the shell you'll get color ON THE EDGE, which is exactly what you don't want to do. Instead, it's best to use a 2-inch brush and apply the paint yourself to the edger, you know, and paint over it. This way you not only control the amount of paint on it - eliminate streaks - but also the placement of the paint on it - to get the best. instead of trying to draw it yourself with a thin brush. Stains with no color before using I did it but I'm lame so I still had some issues with it. This gave me some darn good edges and saved me time by not putting too much paint on another wall where I didn't want it.
