I was riding a few trails with lots of snow and got to the point where I took a wrong turn and had to turn around. I got stuck turning. I have a 2013 Tundra. I did a little digging and put these boards in place. I cracked 4 and 2 on first use. Nothing wild or anything that would stop me from using it again, but I will say brand name recovery plates wouldn't break. Probably more suitable for small and light vehicles. They worked, but I don't know how long they will live
