This slotted screw channel closure is amazingly flexible. You can feel the quality of the product in your hands, unlike the ribbed fragile OEM. It completely seals out all the water we all know is at the root of all camper problems. Use a smaller, non-marking hammer to "land" him after manipulating the hands. Make sure the edges don't go under the edge of the aluminum rail. If so, just pull it back out and start over. I liked the final look of the setup and the performance.
