I am shocked at how soft these sheets are considering they are waterproof! I bought them to take a week off at the beach. Our daughter slept great on the lovely soft surface all week. Luckily I took both sheets with me and lent one to my sister-in-law. Her son woke up because his mattress made a loud noise every time he moved. Those soft sheets definitely muted the tone! They are also quite warm as they are so soft. It's not really my fleece, but it almost feels like a thin flannel. We don't use our backpacks much so I can't comment on their durability, but they still look brand new after five or six washes. And our Pack n Play mattress looks brand new too because it's been protected! My sister's little boy recently had a diaper in his backpack and was playing and I'm sure she regrets not having a diaper! I have a Graco Mini and they fit well and snugly. They also fit my sister-in-law and mother-in-law, who are different brands. I think it helps my daughter to have a sheet that smells like home when she sleeps in an unfamiliar place. Overall very happy with these sheets. They make a great gender neutral gift.
