Great raincoat! I bought a size 10 for my 8 year old and a size 8 for my (almost) 6 year old. We increased the size to give them some room to grow and I would say they would probably still be a bit big if my 8 year old wore a size 8. This isn't a problem for us though, we're just giving them a little more wear time. The cuffs at the wrists and at the ends of the pants are elastic, so they were easy to put on despite their size. My boys wore them all week in Colorado during a rainstorm, played in the creeks and stayed dry. Even going to the mountains and being rude in those costumes didn't lead to fractures. They are MUCH better than the Frog Togs brand. I just wish they had smaller sizes for my youngest son.
