I ordered these during Prime Week and there were great discounts and credits so I got a great deal. These are very beautiful lights. I don't like bright white LEDs, I like warm light. So I was concerned about their color as reviews were mixed. They're not as warm as incandescent bulbs, but I think they're still warm enough for my liking. They don't have that weird flickering LED. They definitely turn off a lot of the lights, I'll look into the dimmer that others have suggested for nights when we need less light, but for now I'm happy with the amount of light under my patio. It took me 4 hours to hang both strands - mainly because I'm a perfectionist and had to go around a lot of joists. A few tips if you hang them yourself (or even if you have help). Plug in lightbulbs to test the filaments and make sure they work, but unplug them if you pull. Mine barely touched the concrete floor when I put them on and the plastic bulbs were scratched. It's not like you can tell when the lightbulbs are on, but it still bothers me because you can see when they're off. They scratch very easily - and that could have been avoided if I had put the bulbs in after lifting them. It was my fault and I share it so others can learn from my mistakes. Mine are under a patio cover so I can't comment on how weatherproof they are. But they work fine at 20 degrees if that helps anyone.
